Scott Dressor is a former U.S. Marine who served from 1980 until 1986. In the Summer of 2007 he took on his first private security contract in Kuwait. From there he worked on contracts in the countries of Iraq and Afghanistan. Working private security intermittently in the States during rotations and periods of self-invoked down-time, he finally called it quits in the Spring of 2014. Scott has spent the balance of his time since reestablishing his relationship with his wife and family, working private security gigs, and developing his own private security business in his home State of Washington, and hosting the podcast OCONUS: The Contractor's Life.
